Fund Spotlight
The William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring Willy’s legacy by empowering individuals through education, support, and creativity.

We are proud to continue supporting Westwood Regional High School students pursuing non-traditional educational paths.

This year, we aim to deepen our support for Veterans, particularly those navigating the challenges of transitioning to civilian life.

Inspired by Willy’s love for artistic expression, we also hope to launch community-based classes in cooking and the arts. These programs will celebrate our family's passion while nurturing creativity within our community.

Building Opportunities Through Willy’s Legacy

Through the William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund Scholarship, we are proud to support hardworking Westwood Regional High School graduates pursuing non-traditional educational paths, including skilled trades, technical training, and creative careers. Each recipient reflects the determination, hands-on spirit, and commitment to building something meaningful that Willy valued so deeply.

2025 William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund Scholarship Recipient Victoria Whalen
Victoria embodies the spirit of hard work, compassion, and community that the William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund was built to honor. A 2025 graduate of Westwood Regional High School, Victoria is currently pursuing her degree in Cardiovascular Sonography at Eastwick College — a career path driven by her lifelong desire to help others.

Victoria is hard-working and always finds ways to contribute to her family and community while keeping her eyes firmly on her future. Her teachers, counselors, and employers all speak to the same qualities — integrity, warmth, and a quiet determination that inspires everyone around her.

We are proud to support her journey and can't wait to see the impact she will make.

Eduardo Juarez

William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund Scholarship Recipient – 2024
Eduardo Juarez, a graduate of Westwood Regional High School, was the inaugural recipient of the William Magee Borgersen Memorial Fund Scholarship in 2024.

Eduardo pursued a path in the skilled trades, completing the Auto Service Technology program at Lincoln Tech where he developed the hands-on skills needed to build a career in the automotive field. While in school, he worked multiple jobs — a true testament to his determination and work ethic.

Today, Eduardo is a working automotive technician with Hyundai, and we couldn't be prouder to have played a small part in his journey.
